Prepare to explore a tactile and expressive feast, not heard in many sampled pianos today.

"The White Grand is the best piano sample I have heard. It sits beautifully in a mix, as well as alone. It actually sounds alive!"

- Paul Linford; film composer, mixer, programmer for Trevor Rabin

"I had no idea a sampled piano could be this good. It was as if someone told me they had a guitar, and what they showed me was a '54 Strat."

- Trevor Rabin; Film Composer, Guitarist

"In the professional world we don't have time to waste in the studio, so when I need an acoustic piano, I always start with White Grand—it just works. It's presence and brightness is hard to achieve with other piano samples"

- Jeremy Whaley; producer, composer, musician

"Probably the very best pop/studio piano that has ever been released. In terms of its evenness and playability, and its consistency of presence from pp to fff, I think it is the best piano sample that has ever been released, period."

 – Bruce Richardson; composer, sound designer, music technology guru.

The Controls

Rel Vol

Control the volume of the release samples, progressing from a dry sound to a more resonant one.

HB Vol

When releasing a key on a traditional, mechanical piano, the moving parts return to home with a distinct thunk. This can add a realism and an intimacy to your sound.

Res Vol

When playing a piano with the sustain pedal down, all of the dampers are lifted from all the strings, allowing all them to resonate freely. Here, you can set the volume for how much resonance you want.

Ped Vol

Pressing and releasing the sustain pedal produces a certain sound, not unlike the thunk of the keys described above. This sound can add realism to your performances. Set the volume of the pedal noise here. You have a few alternate samples of pedal noise that are triggered in a random order, so you don’t get the same sound every time!

Presence has a lot of cool effects! There are a few presets included that shows some of the possibilities that you have for tweaking the instrument. Make your own! Experiment! Be bold! Go wild!
