Recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London by principals and players from the London Symphony Orchestra, the Notion® Basset Horn expansion pack adds a dark, single-reed timbre to your woodwind palette. A similar timbre to the clarinet but darker and less brilliant, the basset is found most notably in Mozart and in the operas of Richard Strauss.  

The Notion Basset Horn expansion pack also contains the following playing techniques: legato, staccato, and trills.
